GoLocal Web Group's founder, JP Peterson, has been a champion and ardent supporter of small businesses since 2008 when she created the first GoLocal business directory and regional news website, which ultimately became a partner site with The Oregonian - the largest news operation in the Pacific Northwest.
When she is not selling and building websites, she is cooking for family members, investing in rental-income properties, frequenting local business establishments, going to farmers' markets, gardening, hiking, and reading.
Prior to founding GoLocal Web Group, she gained 28 years of experience in marketing, branding, and communications, as well as 17 years of experience developing websites for businesses of every size ranging from locally owned and SMB to Fortune 500.
JP and her husband relocated back to the native home state of Virginia in 2024 to be closer to family and the best farmers markets in the USA.
